Corcoran High School Track Receives Colorful Makeover

“Before” and “after” photographs often tell the story of a track’s transformation from old to new better than words. That’s certainly the case at Corcoran (Calif.) High School, which recently resurfaced and upgraded their worn and outdated track with Beynon’s BSS 2000 RE system.

The Berlin Blue 7mm track with embedded texture is highlighted with gold passing zones on three turns and reflects the Panthers’ team colors. The BSS 2000 RE Resurfacing System is a revolutionary Beynon Sports manufacturing and installation process that restores the appearance and texture of your existing track and field surface, and dramatically enhances the feel under foot. The words “Corcoran High School” are spelled out in white block letters in Lane 4, adding an additional splash of color and community pride to the facility.

Beynon surfaces are in place at some of North America’s most prestigious track and field venues, as well as at college campuses, high schools and city parks where safety, speed, competition and daily training take high priority. All told, the company boasts more than 2,500 installations on the continent over the past 10 years.

The Beynon team includes world-famous track coaches and leading polyurethane research chemists working together with experienced installation professionals to create the ultimate running surface — many of which last for more than 20 years.

The BSS 2000 RE is part of Beynon’s Performance Series and is in place at several NCAA Division I universities, including Buchanan HS – Veteran’s Memorial Stadium, Stanford University and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
